Patinkin is a major figure for me. I also saw him in TRELAWNY OF THE "WELLS"; Patinkin, Streep and and John Lithgow made quite an impression. I listen to Patinkin's albums (including a children's record) with so much love.
Two more things that really got me: 1. The Candle was my neighborhood bar, and my first experience with a back room ("why are all those men going behind the curtain...?").2. I also have a real thing for Jewish men, always have, even before I ever met one. What is that about?
