Peace of Mind is attainable, Happiness visits at its convenience.

I remember having a word with one of the check-in children at Chasen’s the very evening you refer to.

Poor thing had no idea who Courtney Love was, never mind Amanda de Cadenet. “She’s Kurt Cobain’s widow,” I whispered. “She’s definitely on the list, or should be.”

“Oh. Thanks,” she replied and admitted them both.

In all fairness to the check-in person, both Courtney and Amanda had counter-programmed their outfits, hair and makeup for the evening, as you note.

I loved that “Kinderwhore” look!
