I had a friend at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, in 1959-60 who was a sissy. Bravest kid in the neighborhood, in the entire junior high school, for that matter. I wish I could remember his name. It was a long time ago, but I remember his courage.
Sending love and light. I bought a beautiful card at Clove and Creek when I was in Provincetown recently (we were there at the same time, and I kept hoping our paths would cross) that reads "We find our path by walking it." What a path you have walked. I feel honored by what you share.
Arlene Francis! Your taste is praiseworthy. I loved her in the Doris Day - James Garner movie THE THRILL OF IT ALL (1963.) She played woman who longed to be a Mother and finally, she does have her baby in a traffic jam!

Big hug for Arlene
How crazy; I wanted to be Bennett Cerf!

One of your best!
And I remember Arlene Francis' pendant necklace, too!
Wow- what great writing!
You were one helluva courageous sissy, Kevin. You still are. And I also adored Arlene Frances.

Beautifully expressed. Many, many thanks. A little shout out for John Daly too!
